The technology uses optical interference filters having a colour shift as a function of the observation angle. In order to increase the security offered by such filters, the technology can increase their complexity as well as performance by adding new properties to the simple colour shift. The proposed technology has many applications in the security domain such as ID cards, related documents, credit cards but also product trafficking.
