OrbisIP is pleased to announce that Dr.Rob Rowlingson will be joining the company as Chief Technology Officer from Monday 10th September.
Rob is a well known and respected member of the UK Information Security community through his previous work at QinetiQ Group in a wide range of Information Security advisory and commercial positions. He has worked closely with the Ministry of Defence and other QinetiQ customers on research strategy and a number of key security initiatives. While at QinetiQ, Rob has built a wide network of contacts through his work as Membership Services Manager for the DTI Knowledge Transfer Network on Cyber Security. He has also lectured and published widely on a number of Information Security core issues. He is on the management committee of the Information Assurance Advisory Council (IAAC) and is a member of the BCS security expert strategic panel. He has acted as an external Information Security examiner for UK universities and as a judge for the 2006 BCS security prize.
