Chief Executive Officer - Peter Jaco
Canadian born, Peter is a serial entrepreneur and investor specialising in Information Security and Homeland Security ventures. Prior to co-founding OrbisIP with City of London based investment firm Imprimatur Capital (www.imprimaturcapital.com), he was a co-founder and start-up CEO of UK based encryption software company BeCrypt Limited. BeCrypt is now the largest provider of encryption software to the UK Government. Prior to his work at BeCrypt (www.becrypt.com), Peter spent over a decade in the City of London working for Reuters Group plc in a number of senior executive positions including Global Marketing Director for their Transaction Products Group. He subsequently was Group Managing Director for a leading European dotcom start-up and was successful in expanding the business across Europe and taking the business to market through an IPO. He serves as a co-founding Director and Deputy Chairman of the SEEDA sponsored Security Innovation & Technology Consortium (www.securityintech.com - SITC). Peter holds an MBA in International Business from London’s Cass Business School.
Chief Technology Officer – Dr.Rob Rowlingson
Rob is responsible for Technology Acquisition for OrbisIP. Ex-QinetiQ, for 2 years he was responsible for Ministry of Defence research strategy in Computing, Information and Signal Processing. As researcher and consultant in information security he has lectured and published widely on a number of Information Security topics. While at QinetiQ, he also developed a 700+ person network of security professionals in the DTI Knowledge Transfer Network on Cyber Security.
